Looking for Botox in Israel as an English speaker?

Botox MD treats expression lines and jaw muscles for women and men from all over Israel, including olim, expats, diplomats and visitors. The clinic is at Ansky 3, Petah Tikva, next to Tel Aviv. This site and the estimate form are in English, and the first price estimate is done remotely from your photos.

This page covers the essentials in plain English: who treats you, what it costs in shekels and how the remote estimate works. For the local rules, read the complete guide to Botox in Israel.

Who injects the Botox?

Every treatment is performed from start to finish by Dr. Avia Tamir, a physician (MD) who graduated from the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University. Her Israeli Ministry of Health medical licence number is 184025, and you can check it yourself in the ministry's public registry of health professionals.

She is the one who looks at your photos, decides the dose and holds the needle. Her diploma hangs in the clinic. In Israel, cosmetic Botox is a regulated medical procedure, so checking the licence of whoever treats you is a sensible habit wherever you go.

Which areas can be treated with Botox?

The clinic treats the upper face (forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, crow's feet, a gentle brow lift), bunny lines on the nose, the lower face (chin, corners of the mouth, gummy smile), neck bands and the jaw muscle for jawline slimming. The clinic does Botox only and does not offer fillers.

Each point on the face map opens a detailed treatment page (in Hebrew).

If your main concern is a wide, square lower face or jaw clenching, the English page on jaw slimming with masseter Botox explains what it can and cannot do. If the concern is lost volume (hollow cheeks, thin lips), Botox is not the right tool, and Dr. Tamir will tell you so after looking at your photos.

How does the photo price estimate work?

You fill in a short form, tick the areas that bother you and attach 1-3 phone photos following the on-screen guide. Dr. Tamir reviews them personally and replies by WhatsApp, phone or email with a personal estimate, usually within one business day. You do not need to visit the clinic for this step.

  1. Choose your areas. Tick one or several in the form.
  2. Take guided photos. The photo guide adapts to the area: raised eyebrows for the forehead, a frown for the "11" lines, a clenched jaw for the masseter. The doctor needs to see the muscle moving.
  3. Receive your estimate. Dr. Tamir estimates how many units you are likely to need, what it will cost, and whether Botox is the right answer at all.
  4. Consultation and treatment. At the clinic you go over your medical history and goals, then the injections take 10-20 minutes. You go back to your day afterwards.
  5. Follow-up at about two weeks. Once the full result shows, symmetry and outcome are checked together. A small correction is done then if needed.

Your photos are seen only by the doctor and are not passed to third parties.

How much does Botox cost in Israel at this clinic?

Botox here costs 750-2,800 NIS (Israeli new shekels, ₪) per area, depending on how many units your muscles need. Combining 2-3 areas in one visit usually costs 1,800-3,200 NIS, which is less than treating each area separately. Your exact price is set after photo review, before treatment.

Who is Botox suitable for, and who should avoid it?

Botox is for adults aged 18 and over who are bothered by expression lines or an enlarged jaw muscle. It is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with neuromuscular disease such as myasthenia gravis, with active infection or inflammation at the injection site, or after a previous allergic reaction to botulinum toxin.

Usually a good fit

  • Forehead, frown or crow's feet lines that bother you
  • Looking tired or angry when you are not
  • Wanting to soften lines before they set in
  • A wide jaw from a prominent chewing muscle
  • Visible neck bands

Not suitable, or check first

  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding or trying to conceive
  • Neuromuscular disease
  • Infection or inflammation in the area
  • Blood thinners (tell the doctor)
  • Wanting added volume: that needs a filler, not Botox

Tell the doctor about any medications you take, including ones prescribed abroad. A list of possible side effects and when to seek care is in the guide on Botox side effects (in Hebrew).

What happens on treatment day and in the weeks after?

The injections take a few minutes with a very fine needle. Small red bumps at the points usually fade within 15-30 minutes, and most people go straight back to work. You start to feel the change after 3-5 days, the full result appears at about two weeks, and it typically lasts 3-4 months.

WhenWhat to expect
Treatment dayRedness or small bumps for up to half an hour. Do not rub the area, skip hard exercise and sauna, and do not lie face down for the first hours.
Days 1-2A mild headache is possible, mostly after forehead or frown line treatment. A small bruise is uncommon and can be covered with makeup.
Days 3-5Movement starts to soften.
Day 14Full result and follow-up visit.
Months 3-4Movement gradually returns. This is the usual time to repeat.

Seek urgent medical care if you ever notice difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing, double vision or general muscle weakness after any Botox treatment.

Where is the clinic?

The clinic is at Ansky 3, Petah Tikva, in central Israel, next to Tel Aviv. Patients come from Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Rishon LeZion, Kfar Saba and the whole center, as well as from further away, because the estimate is done remotely and you only travel once, for the treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Can I arrange Botox near Tel Aviv in English?

This site and its estimate form are available in English, and you can write your questions in English through the form or WhatsApp. The clinic is in Petah Tikva, right next to Tel Aviv. If you need the consultation itself in a particular language, mention it in the form.

How long does Botox last?

Usually 3-4 months for expression lines. Some people keep the effect for up to about 5-6 months, and jaw slimming often lasts 4-6 months or more. A first treatment with a cautious dose may fade a little sooner.

Does the Botox injection hurt?

Most people describe a light sting lasting a second or two at each point. The needle is very fine, numbing cream is available on request, and the whole treatment takes 10-20 minutes.

Do I need a referral from my kupat holim to get Botox?

No. Cosmetic Botox in Israel does not need a referral. You can contact a licensed physician directly, and here the first step is simply sending photos for an estimate.

Are prices quoted in shekels or dollars?

In Israeli shekels (NIS, ₪) only, for example 950-1,400 NIS for frown lines. We do not convert into other currencies because exchange rates change daily; your bank or card provider will apply its own rate.

Who sees the photos I send?

Only Dr. Avia Tamir. Photos are used to assess your treatment and are not passed to any third party.

Does the clinic do fillers or lip injections?

No. The clinic focuses on Botox only. If your photos show that the issue is lost volume rather than muscle movement, the doctor will tell you honestly that Botox is not the answer.

What would it cost you?

Send a few guided photos from your phone. Dr. Avia Tamir reviews them herself and replies with a personal price estimate, usually within one business day.
